USA Cycling
USA Cycling is the official cycling organization recognized by the USOC and is responsible for identifying, training and selecting cyclists to represent the United States in international competitions. USA Cycling, doing business as the USCF, NORBA, NCCA and USPRO, controls nearly two dozen major events each year and issues permits for up to 3,000 more.
The company was organized in 1920 as the Amateur Bicycle League of America and was incorporated in New York in 1921. In 1975, the name was changed to the United States Cycling Federation. In 1995, a new organization, USA Cycling, was incorporated in Colorado, and on July 1, 1995, the two corporations merged, with USA Cycling being the umbrella corporation.
Since the creation of the modern bicycle, the United States has been a dominant force in cycling competition. Before World War II, cycling was second only to baseball as a national sporting pastime. Following a period of decline in the 1950s and '60s, cycling regained its popularity and today is the fastest-growing amateur participation and spectator sport. Studies show that more than 9 million Americans are active in cycling. Research further indicates that these people spend more than $4 billion annually to participate in the sport of cycling, and that these expenditures will likely double over the next several years.

USA Badminton
USA Badminton (USAB), the recognized national governing body for the sport of badminton in the United States, oversees all U.S. badminton competition and prepares the best players in America for the Olympic Games. Badminton is distinguished from other racquet sports, all of which use a ball of some size, by two features: the use of a shuttlecock and the fact the shuttlecock cannot touch the ground during a rally. The flight characteristics of the shuttlecock and the pace created by constant volleying combine to make badminton one of the most exciting sports to play and watch. Considered the world’s fastest racquet sport, a shuttle can leave the racket at nearly 200 mph.
Today's players compete in a lightning-fast sport which demands constant, highly concentrated actions: running, jumping, twisting, stretching, running backwards and striking. Besides explosiveness, quick reflexes and rapid hand-eye coordination, competitive badminton players must also possess superb aerobic endurance. In a typical two-game singles match, top players will cover nearly every inch of the court and travel more than a mile.

The
American Armsport Association
Armwrestling, the pure competition and test of strength
is ageless and enjoys widespread popularity overseas
as well as in the United States. Organized armwrestling,
under the AAA, began its existence in the United States
in 1967. To date, 56 armwrestling associations across
the United States have united together under the leadership
of the AAA. Operating under a structured Constitution
& By-Laws, rules and regulations, this association
continued to grow and became the largest promoting
force for the sport of armwrestling.
Armwrestling
is now a well-organized sport under the international
governing body, the World Armsport Federation and
it's United States member affiliate, the American
Armsport Association. The WAF is the "world body"
of armwrestling associations, and currently has over
70 member countries. Armwrestlers from around the
world "grip up" every year at the WAF World
Championship event which is held each year in a different
country. Competitors must qualify in their own country
at their National Championship event in order to represent
their country on a World level.
The
American Armsport Association sanctions over 50 events
per year in numerous states throughout the country.
All armwrestlers in the U.S. come together each year
for the AAA National Championship event. Boasting
over 300 competitors each year, the AAA National Championship
event is the largest event held in the United States
each year. From the National Championships, the U.S.
Team is formed for competition in the World Championship
event. Armwrestlers will astound you with amazing
split second matches as well as matches that will
last what will seem like an eternity. Men and women
alike demonstrate strength, stamina, and technique
while they "pull" each other on the table
top. Armwrestling events promise action and excitement
you won't want to miss.
